8-31-20 COVID-19 COMPLAINT EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS NOT WEARING MASKS
9-1-20 VISITED SITE. MASK REQUIREMENTS ARE POSTED ON THE DOOR. SPOKE WITH MANAGER JESSE LANE AND REGIONAL MANAGER JEFF HUTCHINSON REGARDING THE COMPLAINT. THEY DO REQUIRE EMPLOYEES TO WEAR MASKS BUT HAVE ONE EMPLOYEE WITH COPD AND A DOCTORS NOTE. IF CUSTOMER IS REFUSING TO WEAR A MASK THEY JUST LET THEM IN. CORPORATE DOES NOT WANT ANY CONFRONTATION. DISCUSSED WAYS TO HANDLE THE SITUATION SUCH AS INFORMING MASKLESS CUSTOMERS THAT IT IS JUST A FEW MINUTES THAT THEY ARE SHOPPING AND OLDER CUSTOMERS MAY FEEL UNSAFE AND SINCE THIS IS A COMMUNITY STORE THEY CERTAINLY DON'T WANT ANYONE FEELING AFRAID TO ENTER THE STORE, ETC. JESSE WAS GIVEN THE PHASE 4 RESTORE ILLINOIS GUIDELINES FOR FURTHER INFORMATION. 9-2-20 THE COMPLAINANT IS ANONYMOUS WITHOUT CONTACT INFO SO THE COMPLAINT IS CLOSED. |
